AMMARI is a London-based singer-songwriter originally from Russia, creating emotionally driven pop-rock built around expressive vocals, live instrumentation and honest storytelling.
Having moved to a new country twice and rebuilt her life from scratch each time, AMMARI writes from a place of lived uncertainty. Her music explores the messy, unpredictable and constantly changing nature of life — and the beauty, joy and connection that can still be found within them.
Music has been part of her life from an early age. Classically trained at music school, she later spent six years training in a musical theatre studio, combining acting, dance and music with performing in stage productions. She went on to sing in a band in Moscow for 15 years and perform with a commercial choir, while also studying Arts Management at GITIS (Russian Institute of Theatre Arts).
Now based in London, AMMARI brings all those years of music and performance into her own work — combining intimate, sometimes brutal storytelling with bold, expressive arrangements made to come alive on stage.
